Genetic-Enhancing Modifiers
We discovered genetic-enhancing modifiers (GEMs) that can reprogram tumor-targeting T cells to overcome immune suppression and eliminate cancer. GEMs can be used to program tumor-targeting T cells, including CAR-T cells, TCR-T cells, and TILs (tumor-infiltrated lymphocytes). They can also enable effective T cell therapy for cancer.
Multivalent Display Technology
We developed multivalent display technology to build molecular Velcros to control viruses and cells. The technology enables genetic programming of vesicles, such as viral-like particles and extracellular vesicles, to display thousands of desired proteins in various oligomeric formats. We are applying this technology to build programmable multivalent therapeutics to treat cancer, viral infection, autoimmune, and inflammatory diseases.
